Warehousing stores goods for later use, while cross-docking transfers goods directly between trucks with little or no storage.
New customers should provide the required paperwork, insurance Cert Holder, good standing references and sign an agreement with the warehouse prior to bringing any freight to Risus LLC. For Fraud Prevention all documentation will be investigated and checked thoroughly and only afterwards the customer will get the green light to start working with Risus LLC. Rejection of providing of any of the required documentations stated below will be considered failure of set up process and the product of the mentioned customer will not be accepted to the facility under no circumstances. Please NOTE, For Fraud Prevention, all shipment origins will be verified thoroughly and any suspicious shipments will be immediately notified to authorities.
Required Paperwork for Setup with Risus LLC
- Signed Warehouse Service Agreement
- Articles of Incorporation
- Organization Certificate of Good Standing
- W-9 form (EIN and tax identity)
- MC/DOT number (if broker, carrier, or freight forwarder)
- Insurance Certificate (COI) with liability and cargo coverage; warehouse listed as certificate holder
- Business financial statement
- Description of freight (per load): Bill of Lading (BOL) with shipper, consignee, and commodity details
- Origin of freight: paperwork of freight legal acquisition

The minimum charge for dry palletized freight per pallet cross dock service is 15$ while floor loaded per pallet cross dock service is 50$ which is very cost effective for our customers.
Yes, we perform local pick ups with dry vans, box trucks, and refer trucks for our customers as well.
